I’m going to start off by saying that this is not something I would usually wear. Which I think is evident from all of my previous posts, but in keeping with the anticipation for some greenery and some life, and the weakness at H&M sales, I found these trousers.
I didn’t realise just how green these trousers were until seeing them in photos. So this is definitely a few steps out of my comfort zone and to be honest I bought it to wear inside the house. But the opportunity to play with these trousers got the better of me and thus created this look, which I think can be a casual look when you’re out for brunch, and also something you could wear to work if you add a blazer to it. Either way, I’m surprised that it had made it out of my house and onto the streets of Seoul.
I’ll be the first to admit that they are not the most flattering of pieces in photographs, but through all the style posts that I’ve done, I’m always finding these pieces that either look better in photographs or better in real life. But that’s okay, I don’t mind the fact that it puts on a few extra pounds and looks a bit sluggish, because I don’t get photographed when I’m out and about, even though I pretend I do (see my Instagram here). It just means you have to work with the pieces you like and I guess that also shows just how much you love wearing them.
I’m not sure if I would actually wear these pants outside of the house again, but I can’t put myself in a style box, because in the past several months alone I feel like I’ve been a hundred different people so I might just wake up one day and think Yep! today’s the day for green pants! You just never know.
